aaron’s gone

Well, Aaron’s gone now. Since he didn’t email on arriving back in America, he might be really gone, I just don’t know.

I think he had a good taste of India for as little time as he was able to spend. He got to watch the worship services of the Hindus in the village. He got to see the tallest statue of a naked man that he is likely to ever see in his life. He had the opportunity to grapple head-to-head with the lumbering bureaucracy of the Indian Railways. I just don’t know what else he might have been hoping for.

It was really nice to have him here, though. For the whole group of students. We were all just a little more lonely after I put Aaron on that train.

Aaron, we pine for you.
